The first time Maiya and I went away together was to Amsterdam in February 2020 with the intention of regular annual mini breaks. However the trip was literally moments before all our lives changed with lockdown.
Amsterdam was an ideal first holiday for us. We both love food, art, culture, and having fun. With our lush AirBnB in the heart of the red light district we were in easy reach of the art galleries, restaurants, cafes, and we even took a peek at a naughty peep show.
Now here we are on the BA flight about to take off to Spain having squeezed in a long haul to Trinidad and Tobago earlier this year.
But this is only a two hour hop and another two hour coach ride to the bosom of family for rest, beach, shopping, food and sunshine.
