Beach Sangria Tapas

We spend our penultimate day languishing on Mojácar beach again. It is hot but the sea is very rough so no dip as the red flags are up!

Despite the crashing waves and intermittent warning whistles from the life guards we enjoy a peaceful day all four of us together.

This time I have dorado for lunch a fish on a plate is what I want and that is what I get. The others have mixed paella. We then return to our loungers for afternoon naps.

On the way back we stop at the supermercado for supplies. Later we go local to Maria’s for tapas and sangria celebrating our last night of this trip together.

Whenever and wherever you eat out once you pay ‘la cuenta’ the server offers you a drink on the house. Usually something like lemoncello or Baileys. This is an expression of gratitude for dining at their establishment.
